Reassurance for Island in negotiations
Manx businesses will have a seat at the negotiating table when Britain forges trade deals outside the EU.
Mark Garnier, a British MP at the Department of International Trade, told Howard Quayle last week that local industry representatives would be invited to take part in talks once the withdrawal process begins.
That means the Island would have a say in proposed agreements with states like America, Australia and China.
It follows another Westminster meeting between the Chief Minister and key Brexit officials, alongside the leaders of Jersey and Guernsey.
