Commissioners say it adds to the community's recreational spaces
A new skate park in Laxey is nearing completion.
It will form part of a wider Glen Road recreation area and Garff Commissioners hope the rest of the equipment will be installed by the summer holidays.
The local authority says the skate park will be in addition to the tennis court, basketball court and grass playing fields.
The commissioners believe the park will provide more 'recreational spaces' for the young people of Laxey.
