Braddan residents urged to look out for weapon
Police are urging residents of Braddan to keep their eyes peeled for a knife which was used in an attempted robbery this week.
Three men wearing dark, hooded tops fled empty-handed after a worker at the Strang store refused to hand over money at 5.30pm on Monday.
Detective Sergeant Brian Shimmin says officers would like to hear from anybody who was in the area at the time who may be able to help the investigation.
And he says the knife used in the holdup may have been discarded as the trio made off:
