Island marks International Women's Day

Pay inequality highlighted

Women have made huge steps but there's still a long way to go.

So says local poet Janet Lees on this year's International Women's Day (8 March) 

The day marks the achievements of women from all over the world, but also raises awareness of gender inequality.

This year's theme is a 'Balanced World is Better' - with a focus on tackling gender bias.

Ms Lees highlights one example of imbalance still around today.
