Physicist's trip to the IoM recalled
Island inventor and horologist Dr John C Taylor OBE has been speaking about Stephen Hawking, who died yesterday at the age of 76.
The pair were friends, with the world renowned theoretical physicist visiting the Isle of Man and staying with Dr Taylor in his Santon home.
He says Professor Hawking very much enjoyed his time here, and got to see plenty of the sights:
