Departing MHK gives Positive Action Group talk
Wholesale reform of government would require a change of chief minister, according to a departing MHK.
Chris Robertshaw gave a public talk at a meeting of the Positive Action Group last night, twelve months before a general election in which he does not plan to stand again.
"Towards a Government Which Serves the People" looked at what structural changes he felt must be made, in order for government to be 'more responsive and agile' in a 'rapidly changing world'.
We'll hear the full speech on Perspective this Sunday from midday until one.
Mr Robertshaw took questions afterwards, including this one from Peter Taylor:
Former DOI minister expecting new CRHS to be 'over the £70 million mark'
"Rapid review" into bed capacity at Noble's Hospital
Still 'very low risk' of meningitis outbreak on Island
MHK 'disappointed but not surprised' over secondary school delay
