Election-themed music show to raise funds for four local charities

Shows to include well-known songs with reworked lyrics

An election-themed music show featuring reworkings of some well-known songs will be raising money for four local charities.

Carry On Up Prospect Hill is on at the Gaiety Theatre tonight (3 September) and tomorrow.

It'll feature songs from the likes of Abba, the Bee Gees and Queen, but with new lyrics with a political theme, such as "Gimme Gimme Gimme your votes in the morning", "We're all going on a Keys House holiday" and "Thank you for the yes vote".

Proceeds will be going to Hospice Isle of Man, Forget Me Not, Nassem's Manx Brain Tumour Charity and Manx National Heritage.
