Guidelines discussed at Tynwald committee hearing
Food standards on the Island have been changed to ensure Manx meat can be sold in the UK and Europe.
Changes to rules at the meat plant were discussed by a Tynwald committee yesterday.
Director of Regulation Ian Mansell said a commitment was made at the start of Brexit negotiations to ensure local produce would be able to be sold internationally.
He told the panel that means following UK guidelines:
