Both runways shut after plane returns to Island
The operators of a Citywing flight are the subject of what they describe as 'routine' investigation following an incident at Ronaldsway airport yesterday.
A Belfast-bound plane had to return to the Island after take off due to poor weather conditions in Northern Ireland.
Van Air - which ran the service - now being investigated by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and has been asked to halt all flights until discussions take place.
All Citywing flights have been affected until further notice.
