Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group award winners announced

The winners of the Manx Farm Conservation Challenge have been announced.

Organised by the Isle of Man Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group, it's given annually to the farm, or farmer, deemed to have done the most to promote conservation, alongside their commercial farming activity.

The winners receive a framed certificate and the Bronze Chough Trophy, which they will hold for one year.

Rawdon Hayne and Jenny Shepherd from Ballacosnahan Farm in Patrick came first in the 'Smaller Farm' category.

Mr Hayne told Manx Radio work to restore wetlands on their property has brought in the wildlife:
