Security measures heightened
A series of new security measures have been introduced in the Island after the UK terror threat level was raised to critical.
More officers have been placed on patrol on the streets and more police vehicles are out on the Island’s roads.
In addition, the outer lane access road at Ronaldsway airport has been closed off for those dropping off or picking up passengers.
Inspector Gavin Callow says it’s natural to increase security locally following Monday night’s terrorist attack in Manchester, but he’s reassuring Island residents ahead of the TT.
