'We understand that the video is already in the public domain, but we are asking people not to speculate'
The Isle of Man Constabulary is appealing for people 'not to speculate or draw conclusions while officers establish the full circumstances' of a video currently circulating on social media.
It has confirmed the footage, allegedly filmed in an Island taxi is now the subject of 'an active investigation'.
Officers are asking that people do not take matters into their own hands; instead, 'any information or concerns should be passed directly to police'.
If you have information that may assist, contact Police Headquarters on 631212 or provide it anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
