Park manager hails 'great achievement'
Resident Lemurs at the Curraghs Wildlife Park have been given their very own a slice of Madagascar, after a new enclosure was officially opened today.
The new pen, which allows visitors to get within touching distance of the ring-tailed primates, is part of a breeding project aiming to increase the numbers of those in captivity.
Deforestation and poaching on their African island home are said to be the reason behind the species' endangered and critically endangered status.
