Outside fire behind properties at Strathallan Crescent
There's been an outside fire in Douglas this afternoon.
Crews were called to Strathallan Crescent, where a fire had started at the bottom of the hillside and spread up behind properties in the area.
The white watch duty crew at Douglas station attended the scene where they used an aerial appliance to extinguish the blaze.
Fire fighters have taken the opportunity to warn people about using disposable barbecues responsibly.
