Described as a waste of resource
Working out how much the Covid-19 testing regime has cost would be a waste of resource.
That’s the opinion of the health and social care minister.
So far more than 29,000 tests have been carried out on the Island – each one comes in at roughly £100.
However David Ashford says there are other hidden costs which would have to be taken into account:
