Decision must remain with people says MHK
A Ramsey MHK says the views of the public must be listened to, when it comes to the town's courthouse building.
The local authority has launched a consultation on the future of the government-owned property, which has attracted almost 1,000 responses in a matter of days.
Ideas mooted so far have ranged from a community hub, an entertainment venue, and a private-run commercial venture - the latter of which was called a 'likely' option by town representative Dr Alex Allinson.
But his Keys colleague, Lawrie Hooper, says the eventual decision must rest with the townspeople:
