Building protected while assessment takes place
There's nothing to stop the Cosy Nook being demolished in the future if it doesn't meet the registered building criteria.
That's from Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Geoffrey Boot after his department issued a building preservation notice to stop the structure being knocked down while it's assessed for registration.
Port Erin Commissioners had voted to get rid of the existing building, with plans to replace it with a more modern facility.
Mr Boot says there are still factors to be considered:
Contractors to start installing 20mph signs in Douglas and Onchan
Road closures in place following incident in Hillberry area
Accessible bus stops rolled out across Bus Vannin network
£1 million National AI Office launched to coordinate artificial intelligence policy and adoption
