Cowell files a notice of motion to discuss costs 'openly'
A Ramsey commissioner is calling for an economic review into the success of the 'Sprintfest' event in the northern town.
Robert Cowell has filed a notice of motion to discuss the costs and 'success levels' of the three-day music festival which takes place during the TT fortnight.
He says he feels it's 'crucial' to review the Market Square event when spending ratepayers' money to fund it.
Mr Cowell told Manx Radio he doesn’t want it cancelled but he does want to see changes made to attract more people to it:
Rolling delays see Manxman sailings cancelled
Assisted dying bill receiving 'due attention it deserves' in UK
Faulty device believed to have triggered multi-agency search effort
