Tynwald members to be given more details on the proposal on Thursday
Tynwald members will be given more details about a potential multi-million pound takeover of the Steam Packet on Thursday.
Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan is hoping to get the green light from his peers next week to finalise a £124m deal.
CoMin is said to be in 'full support' of the proposed agreement - and a new fleet of vessels is something we're told has been factored in to negotiations.
Speaking on Mandate this morning, Mr Cannan pledged to 'refinance and restructure' the company:
Faulty device believed to have triggered multi-agency search effort
Payroll firm reprimanded after thousands of personal records discovered in abandoned shredding bins
Finish line in sight for Atlantic rowers
