Manx Missile Mark Cavendish is branching out beyond cycling – teaming up with nut growers in America.
The cyclist has become an ambassador for American Pistachio Growers, declaring the nut as his official snack.
He says he’s proud to support farmers because he eats pistachios – which are recommended by his nutritionist.
American Pistachio Growers is a trade association with 548 growers across California, Arizona and New Mexico.
