Occupants escaped unharmed
A boiler fire at a property on Victoria Road in Douglas early this morning led to a callout for the fire service.
It happened just before 4.40am.
The people living there had managed to get out before crews arrived there.
They went in and found the fire had been put out by water coming from heat-damaged pipe work.
The oil boiler was made safe and the property was ventilated.
An investigation is being carried out to find out the exact cause of the fire.
