Treasury Minister wants to 'get on with job'
The Island's new Treasury Minister says he's prepared to put issues raised in the Chief Ministerial battle behind him, and get on with the job.
Alf Cannan's appointment might have proved gratifying for leader Howard Quayle, who also persuaded other rival and LibVan leader Kate Beecroft to join his administration.
Ms Beecroft will take on the health portfolio, alongside eight other Keys members in the new-look Council of Ministers.
Dismissing talk of a bid to effectively 'silence' his former opponents, Mr Cannan told Manx Radio it's not a case of power politics by the Chief Minister:
RPU will be 'out in force' to stop drink and drug drivers
