15 questions for oral answer at December sitting
The legal status of cannabis and the impact of more fast food outlets are among the topics which will be raised during Tynwald questions next week.
In all, they make up five of the fifteen questions for oral answer, which will be tackled, as usual, at the start of the sitting at 10.30am on Tuesday.
Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson will ask the Attorney General whether the rescheduling of cannabis for medicinal use in the UK extends to the Isle of Man.
Garff MHK Daphne Caine, meanwhile, wants the Home Affairs Minister to make a statement on the planned review of evidence for the clinical effectiveness of medicinal cannabis, and on decriminalising small amounts of the drug for personal use.
Middle MHK Bill Shimmins has three questions which relate to the recent approval of KFC and Starbucks outlets on Peel Road in Douglas.
He'll ask the Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister whether he supports the provision of more fast food outlets on the road, and what action he is taking to reduce litter from such outlets.
Mr Shimmins also wants to know what action the Infrastructure Minister is taking to reduce traffic congestion caused by the ones on Peel Road.
