Ballig Bridge to Cronk Y Voddy to shut for tree felling

Part of the TT Mountain Course is to shut tomorrow (19 December) for tree felling. 

A damaged tree near Glen Helen needs to be felled for 'safety reasons'. 

The road will be closed from Ballig Bridge to Cronk Y Voddy from 9:30am to no later than 4pm. 

Bus services will be diverted, but school buses will run as scheduled.

The department also confirmed several dead trees near Sarah's Cottage will also be felled. 

Access points:

• Properties north of Sarah’s Cottage – access via Cronk Y Voddy.
 
• Properties between Sarah’s Cottage and Ballig – access via Ballig
