Most breaches came in 30mph zones
The Home Affairs and Justice Minister has revealed that 75 speeding offences were recorded in Douglas and Onchan during the 2023/24 period.
Of those:
- 1 occurred in a 20mph zone
- 46 in a 30mph zone
- 22 in a 40mph zone
- 3 in a 50mph zone
- 3 in a 60mph zone
Some of these offences took place when temporary speed limits were in force during TT.
A total of £9,800 in fines was collected, out of £9,920 issued.
