A sidecar competitor has reportedly been flown to a UK hospital after breaking his shoulder in the first sidecar race of TT 2023.
Dave Quirk was airlifted to Noble’s Hospital yesterday alongside teammate Karl Schofield.
It follows a crash at Brandywell during the second lap of the sidecar race.
It's understood he'll undergo surgery at a hospital in Aintree – Karl's said to have suffered a broken rib and has been described as ‘battered and bruised’.
