Incredible performance from Ian Sharpe
Youth prevailed in Storming the Tower at Cyclefest this afternoon (Saturday) with two under 21 competitors in the top three.
17 year-old Owen Dudley took the honours in the time trial hill climb up the TT course out of Ramsey past the Albert Tower.
Phillip Williams was second and Adrian Scarffe third.
Lizzie Holden took victory in the womens' event, beating Carolyn Brown.
For many, the highlight of the event was the performance of partially sighted paralympian Ian Sharpe, who powered up the hill on his own bike, guided by Rob Holden.
Typically modest, Ian told Tim Glover he'd really enjoyed it.
