He scored a maximum 25 in the first part but followed it up with a 20 for a overall score of 45.
Neil Parsons is in 20th position after scoring 22 and 21.
In the 50m Three Position rifle shoot, Rachel Glover finished in 11th with Gemma Kermode in 15th place.
