Vagabonds’ promotion challenge faltered slightly in Cheshire South as they lost 39-11 away at second place Oswestry.

The bonus point win keeps them very firmly in the promotion places.

Prop Luke Purdy scored Vagas’ only try of the game with skipper Leigh Kennaugh adding two penalties.
