Two clubs book semi-final spots

Corinthians and Peel booked their places in the semi-finals of the Warehouse Fitness Floodlit Cup with convincing wins on Sunday.

The Ballafletcher outfit finished as winners of their group, defeating Castletown 8-0.

Leading 3-0 at the break, Lisa Costain (three), Jade Burden (two), Jenna McStay, Casey Halsall and an own goal ensured a comfortable victory.

Peel completed their Group A qualifying campaign as runners-up with a 6-0 victory over DHSOB.

A hat-trick from Vanessa Christian led the way with Ellan Cleator, Michelle Poyzer and Kayleigh Greggor adding to the tally.
