Twenty-three-time winner to start out front in 30th year on mountain course

In what will be his 30th year of racing on the Snaefell Mountain Course, John McGuinness MBE will lead out the Superbike, Senior and Superstock races once again in 2026.

The 23-time TT winner is confirmed to be leading the pack in the 1000cc classes with the top-20 seeded riders for those races announced today (1 May).

Following McGuinness at No.1 will be his former teammate and Manxman, Nathan Harrison at No.2 who in turn will start just ahead of double Superstock TT winner in 2025, Dean Harrison at No.3.

Elsewhere, Jamie Coward will begin at No.4 on his TT return having missed last year due to injury with David Johnson slotting in at No.5 and 33-time winner, Michael Dunlop at No.6.

Also inside the first ten will be Josh Brookes (No.7), reigning Senior TT champion, Davey Todd (No.8), Mike Browne (No.9) and 14-time winner and outright lap record holder, Peter Hickman (No.10).

Meanwhile, Ramsey man Conor Cummins starts at No.11 - he will take on the Superbike and Senior events with Bathams AJN Racing whilst contesting the Superstock races on his own Conrod Motorsport machine.

Just behind him is 16-time TT champion, Ian Hutchinson who - at No.12 - will be racing for the new TeamRST squad which makes its mountain course debut this year.
