Trials: Sixth for Kaytlyn Adshead in 2026 world championship

Manx rider now headed for 2026 Trial des Nations this weekend

Isle of Man trials star, Kaytlyn Adshead has finished sixth in this year's Trial World Championship.

Once again contesting the Trial GP Women's class this season, the Manx rider took a sixth and fifth-place during the final round of the 2026 series held in Spain from 18-20 September.

As a result of her performances across all seven phases of the championship, Adshead rounds out the campaign with 210 points representing Vertigo Motors UK.

Claiming the overall championship victory for 2026 was Spanish rider, Berta Abellan with 368 points, closely followed by Italy's Andrea Sofia Rabino in second on 349 points.

Completing the season top three was Adshead's GB teammate, Alice Minta on 258 points.

This won't be the end of the season, however, for Adshead who is teaming up with Minta as well as Emma Bristow to form the Great Britain women's team for this year's Trial des Nations.

That international meeting is taking place in Arteixo, Spain this weekend on Saturday, 26 September and Sunday, 27 September.

Adshead is a previous back-to-back winner with Great Britain at the Trial des Nations in 2023 and 2024.
