Manx pro comes 25th out of 180 competitors in Dimension Data Pro-Am
Pro golfer Tom Gandy has been reflecting on his journey, over the past year, from office worker to running in the same circles as some of the biggest competitors in the industry.
This week, Castletown Golf Links hosted an official sponsor event for the Manx golfer, whose gained the financial backing from the company he used to work for; Friends Provident International.
Gandy recently returned from South Africa, where he missed the cut in the South African Open and tied 25th in the Dimension Data Pro-Am out of 180 players.
He says he's gained confidence in his game from rubbing shoulders with some of his golfing heroes:
