Weekend hockey preview
Castletown Celts have a chance to move off the foot of the Rossborough Mixed Premier League table this weekend.
Goals from Steve Ronan and Robin Masson sealed a famous 2-1 win over Vikings A last time out to give them their first points of the campaign.
Tomorrow, they face Ramsey A, a side who sit level on points with Celts and are only above them by virtue of goal difference.
At the right end of the table though, two titans of Manx hockey are preparing for a showdown at the NSC.
Bacchas A take on Vikings A in a top of the table clash as the pair meet for the first time this term.
The Cronkbourne side are the new leaders after Vikings slipped up last time out, and since an opening day draw with Ramsey, Bacchas have won three out of three scoring 21 goals in the process.
The weekend's other match in the top flight sees Valkyrs A take on Vikings B.
