Race day planned for July
Despite Jurby offering relatively inclement weather for the practice day held there on Sunday it was a resounding success, according to organiser the Isle of Man Schoolboy Motocross Club.
There was a busy paddock featuring riders new and old, all of whom enjoyed the day.
Other highlights included: a sighting of David Knight out testing his rally bike for the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge, whenever that may be able to take place; and a first sighting of young pocket rocket, Kirk Michael's very own Jude Callister, who's just six years old.
Organisers are also thanking the marshals and medical cover who kept the riders safe, and Meximann for introducing burrito wraps to the paddock.
Next up will be double-headed race days on 19 and 20 July.
More information will be released via the club's Facebook page soon.
