Silver medal for Cavendish and Wiggins

Manx cyclist Mark Cavendish and Great Britain team mate Bradley Wiggins claimed a silver medal at round two of the World Cup in Beijing.

The Madison pairing was among three teams to gain a lap on the rest of the field to secure a place in the final race for the line.

The result gives them crucial Olympic qualifying points after a disappointing display in round one last week.

Another Manxman Johnny Bellis partnered Ben Swift to 15th place.
