Shooting: Corlett claims high gun in winter series first round

Bellhouse and Doyle also among winners at Meary Veg

The first round of the Brian Kelly sponsored Winter Series Pro Sporting league was held at Meary Veg Santon in near perfect conditions, which also included the Victor Annand cup for Range officers 

The leader at the halfway stage was the man-in-form, Rob Corlett, with 23, in second place on 20 was George  Davies with Peter Kelly, Mark Hepworth and Richard Kneen in equal-third place on 19.

At the end of the second round we had the following results - in third place in C class was Jennie Robertson with 28 points in second place on 33 points was Mark Corrin but winning C class with 34 points was Sue Doyle. 

We had a tie for third place in B class between Will Rand and Brian Faragher on 38 with George Davies taking second place on 39 but winning B Class with 42 points was Zac Bellhouse.

Dave Corlett was third in A class with 36 points with John Moore in second place on 37 but taking A class and high gun on the day was Rob Corlett with a well shot 45.

A Class - 1^st R Corlett 23,22=45, 2nd J Moore 14,23=37, 3rd D Corlett 14,22=36

B Class - 1^st Z Bellhouse 18,24=42, 2nd G Davies 19,29=39, =3rd B Faragher 17,21,W Rand 18,20=38

C Class - 1^st S Doyle 19,15=34, 2nd M Corrin 16,17=33, 3rd J Robertson ldy 15,13=28
