Rest day at Le Tour
After nine stages of the Tour de France, the riders have a rest day today (Monday) before heading into the first mountainous stages. Britain's Chris Froome has an overall 12 second advantage at the top of the standings. His Team Sky team, containing Manxman Peter Kennaugh, was second in the team time trial event yesterday. Kennaugh is 163rd overall in the general classification with fellow Manxie Mark Cavendish 63rd. Cavendish remains third in the sprinters’ green points jersey table after his 26th stage win last Friday.
