Manxman among medals as Team GB impresses in Hong Kong

Isle of Man pro cyclist, Matthew Bostock was among the medals during the 2026 UCI Track World Cup in Hong Kong last weekend.

Representing Great Britain, the 29-year-old claimed third place in the Men's Omnium during the meeting held from 17-19 April.

That wasn't his only strong result, though as he and Team GB teammates, Charlie Tanfield, Michael Gill and Rhys Britton finished an impressive fourth in the Men's Team Pursuit.

There were successes elsewhere for Great Britain across last weekend's meeting - the national squad took gold and silver in the Men's Team Sprint and Women's Team Sprint respectively.

In the individual sprint races, Matthew Richardson took gold in the men's competition whilst Emma Finucane claimed top spot in the women's contest.

Finucane also won bronze in the Women's Keirin whilst the GB quartet of Megan Barker, Erin Boothman, Madelaine Leech and Jessica Roberts were silver medal winners in the Women's Team Pursuit.

There were also bronze medals for Logan Maclean and William Perrett in the Men's Elite Madison as well as silver for Boothman and Leech in the Women's Madison.
