Ramsey move into Cheshire Plate semi-finals

Ramsey moved into the semi-finals of the Cheshire Plate with an assured performance beating Southern Nomads 35-19 on the day and 85-22 on aggregate in this two legged qualifier.

Ramsey took an early lead courtesy of a debut try from Danny Webb.

Nomads hit back via Andy Lean before a Tynan Pritchard try put Ramsey 12-5 in front at half-time.

In the second half Ramsey added tries from Mikey Craine and Louis Higgins to put some daylight between the teams.

Ben White and Ross McCulloch kept the Nomad dream alive with tries but Ramsey killed it off with a score from Nick McCudden right at the death.

Fintan Cummins made up the Ramsey total with five conversions while Danny Williams hit two for Nomads.
