Despite reports elsewhere, Steve Plater has told Manx Radio Sport he has not announced his retirement from road racing.
In a phone call as he was about to board a flight to Spain for a testing session, Plater said negotiations over his racing plans for 2011 were still ongoing.
Plater missed this year's T.T. due to injury after a spill in practice at the North West 200.
He has won two T.T. races around the Mountain Course after making his debut in 2007 - the first Supersport race in 2008 and the Senior in 2009.
