Superb record breaking at Billown.
The best race of the day at Billown has seen Alan Oversby take his tally of wins to twelve .
But he had to shake off a determined Mike Hose, determined to get his fifteenth win. Lap records fell as the two tussled.
But better was to come.
In an extraordinary display, Jamie Coward recorded a hatrick of Billown wins and broke the lap record four times this afternoon in race number eight, the Post Classic Superbike. It now stands at 104.55 miles an hour.
It was a race plugged full of drama.
Steve Mercer was second and Paul Coward third.
