Peel frontman being monitored by National League North side
Manx footballer Rhys Oates has given his hopes of being signed by National League North side Chester a real boost.
He netted a hat-trick whilst on trial for the side as they romped to a 9-1 victory over Newquay earlier this week.
Oates - who scored 38 goals in all competitions for Peel last season - was named the Rose Bowl Player of the Year.
Chester boss Anthony Johnson revealed he spotted the 24-year-old playing for the Isle of Man against Guernsey in the recent Inter-Island Games football tournament in Anglesey.
