
Manx sidecar legend Dave Molyneux has claimed his 17th TT win.
He took the chequered flag in this afternoon's rescheduled Sidecar 2 race.
Mechanical problems on the final lap saw long-time leaders John Holden and Andy Winkle slow down significantly.
An 11-second lead at the end of lap two was all but wiped out by Glen Helen, Moly had passed them by Ballaugh Bridge, and was 38 seconds ahead by Ramsey Hairpin.
Moly and his passenger Patrick Farrance ended up winning the race by almost 44 seconds from Conrad Harrison and Mike Alott.
Holden and Winkle ended up third, more than 35 seconds behind the second-placed pair.
