
The first practice session of the Manx Grand Prix was cancelled yesterday (Saturday) because of bad weather – but it couldn’t have gone ahead anyway.
Chief Marshal, Roger Hurst, says a lack of marshals meant the event couldn’t meet minimum manning levels.
He said the response to appeals had been encouraging, and more volunteers may be arriving from the Ulster Grand Prix.
But he’s calling for experienced marshals to sign up today (Sunday) at the Isle of Man TT Marshals Association office at the Grandstand (audio file attached):
