It gets underway at 10am today
Isle of Man runners will now be making their final preparations for the 2023 London Marathon which gets underway this morning (23 April).
Manx competitors will take on the iconic route with thousands of others with some having competitive goals in mind and others taking on the challenge for an important cause.
Island athlete Dawn Atherton is taking part in the event with her sister, Charlotte, who is taking on the marathon for the first time charity.
Ahead of the marathon, Dawn agreed the event is a good way to unite people taking part for all sorts of different reasons:
Powerlifting: Manx competitors bound for world championships
Athletics: Ryan Corrin claims victory in Ramsey 10k
Golf: Career-best finish for Dawson on Ladies European Tour
