IOM CGA issues statement
The Commonwealth Games Association of the Isle of Man has stepped into the row over more exacting consideration times and distances for Athletics.
There has been much comment on social media about the tougher standards with Isle of Man Athletics Association Chairman Glen Hamilton telling Manx Radio he's "very disappointed".
Others have described them as "ridiculous", "crazy" and "mind boggling".
But President of the Isle of Man CGA Juliet Holt says all sports have been given a shake-up with Manx team numbers being reduced for the 2018 Games in Gold Coast, Australia.
