Shot at professional game for Island footballer
Manx footballer Liam Doyle has the chance to showcase his skills in front of Major League Soccer coaches, general managers and scouts later this week.
Doyle recently graduated from Ohio State University, whose football team he captained.
He's been picked to take part in the 2016 Adidas MLS Player Combine, which starts on Thursday, and now knows the team he'll be playing for.
Sixty players are split into four fifteen-man squads.
The combine takes place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, between this Thursday and Tuesday next week (January 7-12).
It comes ahead of the MLS Superdraft, which sees the United States' professional sides pick new players for the coming season.
