Funds go to 9-yr-old footballer who was tragically struck by lightning
Some of the Island's up and coming footballers have raised more than £1000 for the Jordan Banks Memorial Fund.
The Isle of Man Junior Football League started fundraising after the nine-year-old lost his life after being struck by lightning in Blackpool during a training session.
Lee Ford from Douglas Athletic FC is the brains behind the fundraiser; he suggested it to the Island's U10 coaching group.
This led to players and parents across a range of clubs and age groups (including senior) making donations.
