It's being termed the most important week in the history of Manx cricket.
The Island hosts the European Under-17 Division Two Championship with the first games underway on Saturday.
As well as the home country, nine other nations are competing - Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Italy, Spain and Switzerland.
There's already an accolade for the island - this is the first time a tournament at this level will be played on grass wickets.
Isle of Man Cricket Association Chairman Barry Smith says he's optimistic home advantage will pay off:-
